He has extensive knowledge of legacy pre-ActionScript, ActionScript 1 & 2, along with extensive working knowledge and experience with ActionScript 3.Design patterns are an integral part of larger more complicated flash projects and applications. The MVC is a typical pattern used in a variety of flash applications since the view is a perfect metaphor for the Flash stage. There are other design patterns that work well with certain flash applications too though.
Extensive hands on experience developing flash for mobile devices such as the Pocket PC, the Leapfrog Leapster, and some experience with Nokia Handsets.

Developing a number museum tours for the Pocket PC, the two most prominent were the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam and the exhibition “The Science of Star Wars” for the Boston Museum of Science; and also worked on making significant performance improvements for the tour at the Intel Museum in San Jose.

Following working at Antenna Audio, he worked on a team at Orange Design developing titles such as “Animal Genius“, “Clifford the Big Red Dog“, and “Pet Pals” for the Leapfrog Leapster. Cody developed efficient functions to manage random exhaustive problem sets on a very limited processor, which are still in use today.

Including Cody’s work at Orange Design developing titles such as “Animal Genius“, “Clifford the Big Red Dog“, and “Pet Pals” for the Leapfrog Leapster, he’s also worked on a couple of Facebook games LG Texter and Corona Beach Getaway.
Having worked with video in Flash before it was even officially supported, Cody has extensive experience in creating custom video players as well as optimizing video for any given experience.
At his last couple of positions he has managed project development and Flash developers to keep projects on schedule and feature complete.

At Eveo he trained artists and animators to use tweening packages and write basic interactive functionality to speed development time, and distribute workload.

At Mixercast most of the projects had a very abbreviated production schedule, and often times there would be 2 or 3 projects going on at once. Cody stepped in regularly to make sure schedules were met and deliverables got out the door, as well as making new additions configurable and skinnable for the next project. He also took care of most of the integration issues between the Flash projects and the back end team.
