Independent Projects
When employed, I don’t usually have too much extra bandwidth to spend on hobby projects. However in early 2004 I had some time between jobs trying to ride out the dot com bust, a Compaq Ipaq Pocket PC, and 3 really cool ideas. It also seemed like a really good way to quickly showcase what I could do with Flash because I could quite rapidly open one of these Flash projects on my Pocket PC.
These projects help me get my next position at Antenna Audio creating Museum Tours on the Pocket PC, something I really enjoyed. I also won a contest (for best productivity application) Adobe threw for best Pocket PC applications. I won an iPod.
