Learn iT! Training [1999-2003]

Learn iT! was my first position in the tech sector. While still in college getting my degree in Multimedia I applied for a training position here. With no experience I was hired to work part time at the front desk. While working in that position I aggressively pursued a teaching position taking classes as time allowed, talking with other instructors, participating in toastmasters meetings at lunch, and taking a seminar on public speaking. Within 3 months I was offered a full time position (that worked around my class schedule) teaching classes.

I taught many classes from Intro to the PC to Microsoft Word, and HTML; however I was best with the classes teaching Flash. Teaching 8 hours a day, 5-6 days per week too their toll, and after a year in that position I left my full time position to be exclusively a part time Flash instructor.

While working as a part time Flash instructor I expanded the Flash offerings from 1 to 4 days of training, writing 400 pages of courware to support these class offerings (this was for Flash MX).
