Mixercast Inc. [2008-2009]
Mixercast is a startup located in San Mateo who creates advertising widgets for corporations which would be placed on Social Networking sites. Using a reusable configurable modular framework, we were able to quickly create widgets that would track user interaction and were easily distributable.
Working for Mixercast as a Senior Flash Developer I periodically managed up to 2 junior developers and coordinated with other Flash Developers, the Back-end team, project managers, and the director of Engineering, along with developing much of the platform for configurability (via externally loaded XML files) and re-usability.
When I left Mixercast I was in the process of migrating their main modular widget project from AS2 to AS3 using Gaia Flash Framework. A good deal of my work at Mixercast was developing new modules and enhancing existing modules that were written in a MVP (Model-View-Presenter) design pattern. I also worked on a few custom AS3 projects here.
